Just spoke with mom and a nurse.

So, dad was having a tough time breathing this morning and he was really agitated. So, the team thought it best to sedate dad so that he doesn't hurt himself and so that he can be hooked up to a ventilator to breath better.

The doctors did some scans to make sure there was no urgent medical issues. Everything looks okay.

At this point, the doctors think that my dad was on way to many pain narcotic pain meds and that they need to be drained from his system. I guess that's what is happen now.

He's doing better now then he was when he was first placed in ICU early this morning.

Oh Gosh...

We are praying for God to move miraculously through Brian. For a supernatural healing throughout his entire body...

Isaiah 41:10 says So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

God is all over this situation. And we are standing with you, and believing with you that our God will heal your Dad.

"It"...it is scary to think about. But God says Do Not Fear Try to keep those "it" thoughts out (as hard as it may be)
It's not over! God is in control.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

We love you guys.
Don't hesitate to ask us if you need anything. Anything.
We're here for you.

Love,
Steph and Kory

2 Timothy 1:7 says God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. *solid verse

Hey Josh
Very quiet at work today so I just finished reading the whole blog from beginning to end. Very moving story. There is no doubt that you did the right thing by sacrificing for your Dad.

I'm going to step out on a limb and say something that might be off base but I believe it is from the Holy Spirit. In a sense you are the spiritual head of the family right now because your Dad is not able to be. As head, under Jesus' headship, by faith you have authority over this illness. Claim the ground. Place the illness under Jesus' feet. He is seated far above every power of the Enemy. Yes, someday your Dad will die at the right time, full of blessings, because death has not yet met its final end - but Jesus has won the victory over illness; healing is the childrens' bread, our inheritance. Ephesians 1:17-23 "I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way."

"You have been given fullness in Christ who is the head over every power and authority." (Col 2:10)
